Focus Business and the market research company Statista recently named IBO the ‘Growth Champion 2022’. The multibrand fashion house has now also named its own growth champion for the past year - the menswear label Steffen Klein.
Four years after its foundation, the HAKA brand has achieved an eight-figure GMV for the first time. The three IBO founders Akin Sahin, Tobias Grein and Thorsten Höllger want to build on this result. The focus is on the further internationalisation of Steffen Klein via its own online shop and other digital marketplaces.
Collaborations with selected influencers and public figures are also planned. Most recently, Steffen Klein, until then a ‘marketplace only brand’, launched its own online shop in November. The next milestone is to be reached by 2028 at the latest, when the menswear label will realise a GMV of more than 100 million euros.

The main location is Würselen near Aachen (design, main logic location, marketing, management). Production takes place mainly in Turkey, IT and technical development are located in Dresden, while customer service and project management are based in Halle an der Saale.
The three people behind IBO are Akin Sahin, Tobias Grein and Thorsten Höllger. Multi-entrepreneur Sahin belongs to the entrepreneurial family of the same name, which is one of the largest fashion producers in Europe with Sahinler Holding. He was also Managing Director of the chain store Vestino.
Tobias Grein, who has already successfully founded, scaled, operationally managed and sold online fashion labels in the past, is also on board.
The third member of the team is Thorsten Höllger, founder of the Fortuneglobe Group and a specialist in digital fashion distribution.
